At Fitting in knitting, we're on a mission to reignite the joy of creativity and craftsmanship. We understand the longing to reconnect with something we truly enjoy, even if it's been lost over the years. Our mission is to provide the tools, guidance, and support needed to rekindle that passion.
We believe in the beauty of making things up as we go along, in the spontaneity of creativity, and in embracing the trial-and-error process. Our mission is to empower individuals to explore, experiment, and rediscover the art of creating, all while fostering a supportive community where memories are made, skills are honed, and joy is found in the journey.
Fitting in knitting is all about finding time, or more like it, making time, for a hobby that is rewarding in so many ways.
I thought it would be a great starting point to put together a group of patterns that were simple to make, even for older children just starting out. Keeping them short also allows them to be finished sooner, and the quicker the reward, the more likely the interest will be kept going. By encouraging the whole family to get involved, particularly busy mums like myself, I am hoping we can make time to pass on this passion.
